Established to Support and Raise Awareness for Hydrocephalus

founded on August 26, 2022, Hydrocephalus Community Pakistan was created with a mission to ensure that no parent or child in Pakistan has to face the struggles of hydrocephalus alone. After experiencing firsthand the challenges of this condition, we were determined to build a community where others could find the support and resources they need

What We Do?

Hydrocephalus Community Pakistan is dedicated to raising awareness, educating the public, and offering guidance to families and individuals affected by hydrocephalus. Together, we advocate for improved healthcare access, emotional support, and a better quality of life for those living with this condition. Join us in our mission to make a lasting difference in the lives of those affected by hydrocephalus.

In Loving Memory of Mohammad Rafay

Mohammad Rafay, the beloved son of Mr. Arbab Shafique, our founder, tragically lost his life after a brave battle with hydrocephalus. In his memory, the Hydrocephalus Community Pakistan was established to provide support and raise awareness for individuals and families in Pakistan facing this challenging condition. Our mission is to help those affected by hydrocephalus, offering resources, advocacy, and a sense of community to ensure no one has to face this journey alone. Together, we strive to make a difference in the lives of those battling this disease.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a future where every individual in Pakistan living with hydrocephalus receives the care, support, and understanding they deserve. We strive to raise nationwide awareness, reduce stigma, and promote early diagnosis and effective treatments, ultimately fostering a more informed and compassionate society. Through our efforts, we envision a world where no one faces hydrocephalus alone.

Our Mission

Our mission at Hydrocephalus Community Pakistan is to support and empower individuals and families affected by hydrocephalus across Pakistan. Through awareness, education, and advocacy, we aim to provide resources and a compassionate community to improve the quality of life for those battling this condition. We are dedicated to offering guidance, emotional support, and a platform for patients and caregivers to connect and share their experiences.

Hydrocephalus has no cure

Currently, the primary treatment option for hydrocephalus in Pakistan is brain surgery, which can be a significant financial burden for many families. The costs associated with surgery, hospital stays, and ongoing medical care can be overwhelming, making it difficult for those in need to access the treatment they deserve.
